THE CNC SCORING MACHINE KSM 191J IS DESIGNED TO SCORE INTERRUPTED
OR NON INTERRUPTED V-GROOVES INTO BOTH SIDES OF SINGLE SIDED, DOUBLE SIDED OR
MULTILAYER PCB'S IN THICKNESSES BETWEEN .012" - .160" (0.3 -
4.0mm).
Panels as small as 2"x2" and
24"x24" can be handled. Score distances can be set in increments of .00004"
(.001mm), with an accuracy of .0001: (.0025mm). All known substrates can be
scored from FR-2 to FR-4, polyimides and green ceramics.
Solid carbide cutters are standard and recommended for standard operation. PKD-diamond cutters are recommended for Jump-Cut operation.
By using a four point clamping system automatic spanning, an extremely high degree of accuracy is obtained, also ensuring perfectly symmetrical depth of the grooves.
The mechanical set up of the machine can be done in minutes, while programming is done in seconds. This makes sutiable for large, intermediate and small production runs. An interface allows data communication with a central modem and other devices. The built in hard disk can store thousands of programs, which can be called up in seconds. The 3.5 " floppy disk drive can be used to load programs to and from the hard disk.
